Is there any IAS Officer with BCA degree?

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, it is common for an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer to have a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree. The IAS is one of the prestigious civil services in India, and traditionally, it attracts candidates with diverse educational backgrounds, including degrees in fields such as humanities, sciences, engineering, and commerce. However, exceptions may exist, and it is possible that there could be IAS Officer with BCA degree who have successfully cleared the competitive IAS examination and joined the service. The eligibility criteria for the IAS examination do not specifically require a particular degree, but rather focus on an applicant's aptitude, knowledge, and leadership qualities. Therefore, while it is less common, it is not entirely impossible to find an IAS officer with a BCA degree.
