Things not to do when using WhatsApp to stay safe.

 1. Do not scan QR code with whatsapp on any web browser.

 2.Do not welcome everyone to your WhatsApp account.

 3. Make sure your profile photo does not reveal too much information about your family             members. 

 4. Delete irrelevant people from your contact list or block them.

5. Add ‘Two-step verification’ pin to secure your WhatsApp account.

6.  Do not share your Status messages publicly on WhatsApp.

7. Do  not allow anyone to add you to WhatsApp Groups.

8. Disable the option to automatically add all WhatsApp media files into gallery.

9. Disable auto chat backup in Google Drive or iCloud.

10. Do not share porn clips or private video clips of people on WhatsApp. You may go jail.

11. Do not spread unverified news, hate messages or rumours on sensitive topics on WhatsApp. You may arrest.

12. Do not make the mistake of running a WhatsApp account using someone else’s name. this is crime.
